The 19th Annual National Service-Learning Conference: What a Success!

It is hard to believe The 19th Annual National Service-Learning Conference: Youth for a Change began one month ago today. Experience a few of the many highlights from the conference including mp3s of  Archbishop Tutu's plenary address.

Kathy Havens Payne

Throughout NYLC’s 25th Anniversary year, we will be posting reflections from individuals who have supported the organization and service-learning movement. The series kicks off with an interview of Kathy Havens Payne, Director of Education Leadership at State Farm, a lead funder of NYLC. Continue to check back for additional reflections from service-learning practitioners, evaluators, supporters, and friends, as well as from NYLC President/CEO Jim Kielsmeier and NYLC Vice President Wokie Weah.

Celebrate the collective work of many communities around the country in refining those original principles and translating them into the new K-12 Service-Learning Standards for Quality Practice.
